Why is India so angry about China?

India’s government has lashed out at China for its military incursions into its territory and called for the withdrawal of its troops from Tibet.

But the Indian military has a history of military exercises and has been conducting exercises in the area of the Himalayan plateau and in other parts of the Indian-administered Kashmir region.

India has also launched a series of drills in the disputed Himalayan region in recent weeks, including the deployment of an airborne surveillance unit that will be part of the military’s training, including “anti-terrorist” and counter-insurgency units, a military spokesman said.

The government is also seeking a new border agreement with China that would enable India to maintain the status quo on the disputed region, said Gen Pranab Nath Singh, India’s top military commander.
